An lovely and idyllic place. Great supervised outdoor pool where you can read and relax.

If you toss and turn like me, the beds are terrible. You quickly end up on the bare mattress. Don't look under the bed, the bogeyman left years of stuff under it.

The hotel offers pastries, pancakes, fruit, eggs and bacon for breakfast. The room is immaculate and absolutely gorgeous on the ground level, everything is wonderful. We would stay here again for a weekend.

This was a very cozy lodge. The grounds were well preserved and easy to move around. The staff was extra friendly. We were able to take advantage of the pool and fitness area. Even considering the distance, we preferred Founder's Inn to the beach accommodations at Virginia Beach

We had an exceptional room with a walk in shower and everything was lovely. The location was comfy, steps away from Regent University.

Convenient Location for Commencement Event 🎓. We had a great weekend stay and would definitely come back here in the future.

I liked the overall atmosphere and decor. The view from our room was beautiful. Our dinner was excellent and I really appreciated executive chef Scott Simpson stopping by our table to ask how we were enjoying our meal. The pool was wonderful!

The bed was too high. I thought I was going to fall off every time I got out of bed. The a/c took a very long time to cool the room.

The breakfast was a great value, offering large portions of delicious food, and the hotel was conveniently located in the area I was visiting.

Really enjoyed the clean room & grounds are like an English garden. Over all very beautiful hotel! Annemarie & Jim

I had a brand-new and great-sized room with a pull-out couch, a fireplace, and all the necessary amenities. the location is very nice and convenient, with shopping centers and gift stores nearby.

Staff was excellent, friendly, helpful. The decor and grounds are pretty. The proximity to my relatives' home was the only reason I chose to stay here.

Poor mattresses on the beds. They need replacement; the middle of the mattresses were sagging from much use. The room and bathroom should have been cleaner.

The location was fantastic, with shopping malls and gift stores within walking distance. the airport was only 9 miles away. My queen room with a fireplace was perfect.

Luxury, spacious hotel with hard-working staff and large breakfasts. Well-decorated and themed rooms with nice interior. Comfortable beds and beautiful views. Convenient location adjacent to shopping areas, decent restaurants, the garden, and the new outlet mall. Excellent service at all times.
